This may seem an odd topic, but I wanted a page for miscellaneous  links covering aspects of the latter 1800's (apart from the American West or the Civil War) and first three decades of the 1900's (not including the Great War).

Although primarily a role-playing game resource, the Victorian Gamer provides "a variety of
information on the culture, history, politics and technology of the Nineteenth Century." 

Ashville was a getaway for the wealthy around the turn of the 20th century.  Of course, Biltmore Estate is there, as is the Grove Park resort.
